HOW ACTIVATED CARBON FILTRATION WORKS
The Activated Carbon Technology filtration systems is so effective at reducing impurities. Our filters are made from Activated Carbon that has been heat-treated with steam to make it extremely porous.
The 3M Purification Inc-patented pleated membrane, surrounding an engineered carbon block, acts like an organic magnet, trapping solid minerals, impurities, and contaminants so that only pure, great-tasting water passes through. This process is highly effective at reducing cysts, and asbestos.
We exclusive use filters manufactured by 3M Purification Inc, a 3M company and a trusted leader in water purification, that have been Tested and Certified by the independent laboratory NSF international for the reduction of unwanted taste and odors, as well as protozoan cysts, asbestos, and other Particulates Class.
REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTRATION
Reverse Osmosis is appropriate if your water contains a high level of minerals. Water with high mineral content is often referred to as "Hard Water" or as having high Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Reverse Osmosis Filtration provides all the benefits of Activated Carbon Filtration, but is also effective at reducing dissolved minerals, or TDS, from tap water.
HOW REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTRATION WORKS
Reverse Osmosis technology uses a semi-permeable membrane to divert dissolved minerals, salts, metals, chemicals, microorganisms, and other impurities. Tap water is forced under municipal water pressure through a sediment/carbon pre-filter, a semi-permeable membrane, and post-carbon filter trapping to remove impurities. Reverse Osmosis Filtration is strong and effective-indeed, this is the technology used to desalinate sea water and make it suitable for drinking. Our reverse osmosis technology reduces up to 99% of dissolved solids and significantly reduces unwanted tastes and odors, leaving only high-quality, refreshing water.
